Not so traditional art...

At our class in June we learnt a few things about different types of traditional art and more specifically Bauernmalerei. We came to the conclusion that it was a great way to decorate all sorts of objects and we applied our hearts and minds to emulating the designs we studied. But where to start? Some of us started with the brush strokes first and the others started with a more concrete picture of a flower, and slowly but surely we gained confidence. We did decide that we would adapt the technique to incorporate our South African flowers too.

Lovely work done, ladies, you have a lot of courage and you made me proud again.
